ADOPT-A-ROAD/PARK PRORAM
The Parks & Recreation Advisory Board and staff recommend the City Council consider

Meadowmere Park Road, from Kimball Road to the boat ramp at Meadowmere Park and
an Adopt -A -Park agreement with the Lake Forest Boat Club for the shoreline between
Lakeview Park and the boat houses of the Lake Forest Boat Club. The applications are
attached for Council review.
FUNDING SOURCE:
Adopt-A-Park\Road signage would be placed at both ends of the limits of each program
area. The cost of the signs is approximately $75 and would come from the Grounds

BACKGROUND:
The proposed agreements are for a period of two years and require the applicants to
pick up litter or do other maintenance a minimum of six times per year. The Parks &
Recreation Advisory Board approved the agreements at the September 25, 2004
meeting. If approved by the City Council, the City will have a total of 30 active Adopt-A-
