Re: Case No. SP1 3-13
To Whom It May Concern:
This letter is to verify that your Site Plan Review application SP13-13, located at 1800 State
Highway 26 and platted as Lot 1A, D F W Hilton Addition was approved per the attached site
plan on October 28, 2013.
Please find enclosed an approved site plan set for your records. I have forwarded a copy to the
Building Inspection Division.
No site plan approval shall be valid for a period longer than one (1) year from the date such
approval is issued, unless a building permit is issued and construction is actually begun within
that period, and is thereafter diligently pursued to completion or an occupancy permit is obtained
and a use commenced within that period. Approval of an application does not authorize any
work in conflict with any Codes or Ordinances of the City of Grapevine
Any changes to a site plan approved with a conditional use or a special use can only be
approved by city council through the public hearing process.
If you have any questions relative to your building permit, please contact the Plans Examiner, at
(817) 410-3165. If you have any further questions regarding your site plan approval, please feel
free to contact me at (817) 410-3155.

SOURCE OF STRUCTURE DATA: Existing data is as per Hard Audit downloaded from ClearVision dated 6/20/2012 and
Rooftop Mapping performed by Patrick Neshyba with Allpro Consulting Group on 4/4/2013(ACGI#12-6869).
LOCATION OF NEW EQUIPMENT: The proposed Kathrein 84010054 Quadpole Antennas will be mounted on the
existing 2.0" standard pipe mounts on the existing sled mount replacing the existing dual pole panel antenna. The
proposed nRRHv2s will be mounted on the existing pipe mounts behind the proposed Kathrein 84010054 Quadpole
Antennas.
RESULTS: Based on our structural review, the proposed Kathrein 84010054 Quadpole Antennas and nRRHv2s will not
be detrimental to the rooftop and is in compliance with IBC 2006. A minimum ballast weight of 8001b must be used
for each sled mount. 4001b shall be placed on the front of the sled mount and a second 4001b shall be placed on the
back of the sled mount. A minimum clearance of 9inches around all edges of the sled mount is required.

RE: Clearwire Upgrade — TX-DAL6001-1800 State Hwy 26
To Whom It May Concern;
SAC Wireless, on behalf of Clearwire, is requesting the necessary approvals perform maintenance work
on existing tower equipment by replacing (3) obsolete antennas with a new model type and replacing
(3) obsolete transceivers currently located at the base to the backside of the new antennas at 1800
State Hwy 26. Clearwire RF Engineers have determined this minor modification is required to help
increase the data capacity at this existing location.
Clearwire is a division of Sprint. The upgrades will be beneficial to Clear Wireless WiFi and Sprint
customers in the area by offering faster data transfer speeds and less dropped calls.
Attached please find the Permit Application, 3 Sets of drawings, a Structural Analysis, and a check for the
filing fee of $250.
We greatly appreciate your help with this proposed Clearwire upgrade.
Best Regards

Re: 1800 State Highway 26, Grapevine, TX
Mike,
I am returning these documents to you due to incomplete information. The site plan
application and building permit application go to two different departments; therefore,
they are a separate submittal.
• The building permit application requires 3 complete sets of documents, plus a
plan review fee of $89.21.
• The site plan application requires original notarized signatures.
Please resubmit the items above. I will hold the remainder of the site plan application
until the notarized signatures are received.
If you have any further questions, please feel free to call the number below.
Sincerely,
Susan Batte
