SUBJECT: RENEWAL FOR PERFORMO ASSET PERFORMANCE AND
MAINTENANCE SOFTWARE
RECOMMENDATION: City Council to consider approval for the renewal for Performo asset
performance and maintenance software from Wizard Software Solutions
for the Facility Services Department.
FUNDING SOURCE: Funds are available in the General Fund (Facility Services) and the
Permanent Capital Maintenance Fund (Facility Services) in an amount not
to exceed $25,000.
BACKGROUND: The Facility Services work order system (Wizard Software Solutions,
Performo) is up for software hosting renewal. This renewal is
recommended so the performance work order system experiences zero
interruption, improve its capabilities, and maintain customer support from
the supplier. The renewal ensures that all staff and end users retain the
continuity to receive, access, and complete work orders from many
different devices. The access and support of Performo improves the staff's
efficiency in addressing work order requests.
The purchase of Performo software hosting renewal will be made as a
sole source purchase from Wizard Software Solutions in accordance with
Local Government Code Chapter 252, Subchapter B, §252.022. General
Exemptions (a)(7)(A).
Staff recommends approval.
