ITEM 1 . RESOLUTION, AMEND CRIME CONTROL AND PREVENTION DISTRICT
BUDGET PROCEDURES.
City Manager Bruno Rumbelow recommended approval of a resolution adopting the City's
fiscal year and standard budgeting guidelines for the Crime Control and Prevention District
(CCPD). Upon the initial approval of the CCPD, the budget calendar for the CCPD was set
forth in the State CCPD statute. The CCPD Board has the authority to change that process
and set its own procedure for budgeting. Using the City's standard budgeting consideration
and adoption guidelines, as set forth in the City Charter, will require fewer special
meetings and make the CCPD budgeting process less cumbersome.
Board Member Spencer, seconded by Board Member Wilbanks, offered a motion to adopt
the resolution as recommended. The motion prevailed by the following vote:
Ayes: Tate, Ware, Wilbanks, Spencer, Stewart, Freed & Lease
