1. Consider a resolution approving the City of Grapevine Crime Control and
Prevention District Fiscal Year 2008-2009 Budget and take any necessary action.
2. Consider the minutes of the September 2, 2008 Board meeting and take any
necessary action.

The Crime Control and Prevention District Board of the City of Grapevine, Texas met on
this the 16th day of September, 2008 at 7:30 p.m. in the City Council Chambers, Second
Floor, 200 South Main Street, with the following Board members present to-wit:
William D. Tate Presiding Officer
C. Shane Wilbanks Board Member
Sharron Spencer Board Member
Roy Stewart Board Member
Darlene Freed Board Member
Mike Lease Board Member
Chris Coy Board Member
constituting a quorum, with the following members of the City Staff:
Bruno Rumbelow City Manager
Jennifer Hibbs Assistant City Manager
H. T. Hardy Assistant City Manager
Doug Conner Assistant City Attorney
Linda Huff City Secretary
CALL TO ORDER
Presiding Officer Tate called the meeting to order at 10:30 p.m.
ITEM 1. RESOLUTION, APPROVE CRIME CONTROL AND PREVENTION
DISTRICT FISCAL YEAR 2008-2009 BUDGET
City Manager Bruno Rumbelow requested approval of a resolution approving the
Grapevine Crime Control and Prevention District Fiscal Year 2008-2009 budget. The
FY2009 budget proposal is$1,059,419.00. The Board adopted the same fiscal year as the
City and is required to adopt a budget for the new fiscal year prior to October 1, 2008.
Revenues are projected at$11,766,016.00 with expenditures projected at$12,271,735.00.
There will be $505,719.00 transfer from the fund balance that will result in an ending fund
balanc� of $5J�,700.00.
After approva� b�r the Board,the budget will be included in the City Council's annual budget
►or Fiscal Year 2009.
Board fVlember Freed, seconded by Board Member Wilbanks, offered a motion to approve
the resolution adopting the Crime Control and Prevention District Fiscal Year 2008-2009
budget. The motion prevailed by the following vote:

Nays: None
RESOLUTION NO. CCPD 2008-02
A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF THE CITY OF
GRAPEVINE CRIME CONTROL AND PREVENTION
DISTRICT BOARD ADOPTING AND PROPOSING A
BUDGET FORTHE FISCALYEAR BEGINNING OCTOBER 1,
2008 AND ENDING SEPTEMBER 30, 2009;AND PROVIDING
AN EFFECTIVE DATE
ITEM 2. CONSIDERATION OF MINUTES
City Secretary Huff recommended approval of the minutes of the September 2, 2008 Crime
Control and Prevention District Board meeting as published.
Board Member Freed, seconded by Board Member Stewart, offered a motion to approve
the minutes as recommended. The motion prevailed by the following vote:
Ayes: Tate, Wilbanks, Spencer, Stewart, Freed, Lease & Coy
Nays: None
ADJOURNMENT
Board Member Wilbanks, seconded by Board Member Lease, offered a motion to adjourn
the meeting at 10:35 p.m. The motion prevailed by the following vote:
Ayes: Tate, Wilbanks, Spencer, Stewart, Freed, Lease & Coy
Nays: None
