1. Crime Control and Prevention District Board to canvass the results of the May 14,
2011 Crime Control and Prevention District Renewal Election,consider a resolution
declaring the results and take any necessary action.

The Crime Control and Prevention District Board of the City of Grapevine, Texas met on
this the 24th day of May, 2011 at 12:03 p.m. in the City Council Chambers, Second Floor,
200 South Main Street, with the following Board members present to-wit:
William D. Tate Presiding Officer
Ted R. Ware Board Member
C. Shane Wilbanks Board Member
Sharron Spencer Board Member
Roy Stewart Board Member
Chris Coy Board Member
constituting a quorum, with Board Member Darlene Freed absent, with the following
members of the City Staff:
John McGrane Administrative Services Director
Matthew Boyle Assistant City Attorney
Linda Huff City Secretary
CALL TO ORDER
Presiding Officer Tate called the meeting to order at 12:03 p.m.
ITEM 1. RESOLUTION, CANVASS CRIME CONTROL AND PREVENTION
DISTRICT RENEWAL ELECTION
C!#y��cre�ary Linda Huff reported there are 26,483 registered voters in the City as of May
1, 2011. Tk�e Crime Control and Prevention District election was held on Saturday, May
14, 2C�11,wit" citizens casting a total of 3,673 votes (13.55%)for the following proposition:
Proposit�on One — Crime Control and Prevention District Renewal — 15 Years
For 3,114
Against 474
City Secretary Huff recommended approval of a resolution declaring the results of the
Crime Control and Prevention District Election.
Board Member Stewart, seconded by Board Member Coy, offered a motion to approve the
� resolution declaring the results of the election. The motion prevailed by the following votes:

Ayes: Tate, Wilbanks, Spencer, Stewart, Lease & Coy „,
Nays: None
Absent: Freed

RESULTS OF THE MAY 14, 2011 CRIME CONTROL AND
PREVENTION DISTRICT RENEWAL ELECTION AND
PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE
ADJOURNMENT
Board Member Wilbanks, seconded by Board Member Stewart, offered a motion to adjourn
the meeting at 12:05 p.m. The motion prevailed by the following vote:
Ayes: Tate, Wilbanks, Spencer, Stewart, Lease & Coy
Nays: None
: Absent: Freed '� '
