CALL TO ORDER
PUBLIC HEARING
1. Conduct a public hearing relative to Fiscal Year 2012-2013 Crime Control and
Prevention District Budget and take any necessary action.
2. Consider the minutes of the September 13, 2011 meeting and take any necessary
action.

CRIME CONTROL AND PREVENTION DISTRICT BOARD
The Crime Control and Prevention District Board of the City of Grapevine, Texas met on
this the 4th day of September, 2012 at 8:11 p.m. in the City Council Chambers, Second
Floor, 200 South Main Street, with the following Board members present to-wit:
William D. Tate Presiding Officer
C. Shane Wilbanks Board Member
Sharron Spencer Board Member
Roy Stewart Board Member
Darlene Freed Board Member
Mike Lease Board Member
Chris Coy Board Member
constituting a quorum, with the following members of the City Staff:
Bruno Rumbelow City Manager
Jennifer Hibbs Assistant City Manager
John F. Boyle, Jr. City Attorney
Tara Brooks Assistant City Secretary
CALL TO ORDER
�re�idir�� Officer Tate called the meeting to order at 8:11 p.m.
ITEM 1. PUBLIC HEARING, CRIME CONTROL AND PREVENTION DISTRICT
FISCAL YEAR 2012-2013 BUDGET
Pr�esiding G�ficer Tate declared the public hearing open.
City 1/la�ayer Bruno Rumbelow reviewed the Crime Control and Prevention District Fiscal
Year 2012-2013 budget noting that expenditures and revenues are equal at$13,223,004.
The ending fund balance is positive at$492,592. The budget pays for all expenses of the
police department except for administration and animal control. As in past years, a transfer
has been required to make up for lost sales tax income. This year's transfer is$1.3 million.
City Manger Rumbelow stated that final action on the budget will be taken at a special
meeting on September 11, 2012.
Presiding Officer Tate invited guests present to speak regarding the proposed budget. No
one wished to speak and there was no correspondence to report.
Board Member Stewart, seconded by Board Member Coy, offered a motion to close the
public hearing. The motion prevailed by the following vote:

Ayes: Tate, Wilbanks, Spencer, Stewart, Freed, Lease & Coy
Nays: None
ITEM 2. CONSIDERATION OF MINUTES
Assistant City Secretary Tara Brooks recommended approval of the minutes of the
September 13, 2011 Crime Control and Prevention District Board meetings as published.
Board Member Wilbanks, seconded by Board Member Lease, offered a motion to approve
the minutes as published. The motion prevailed by the following vote:
Ayes: Tate, Wilbanks, Spencer, Stewart, Freed, Lease & Coy
Nays: None
ADJOURNMENT
Board Member Freed, seconded by Board Member Coy, offered a motion to adjourn the
meeting at 8:15 p.m. The motion prevailed by the following vote:
Ayes: Tate, Wilbanks, Spencer, Stewart, Freed, Lease & Coy
Nays: None
