NEW BUSINESS
1 . Consider an ordinance adopting Fiscal Year 1995-1996 (FY96) budget and take
any necessary action.
2. Consider an ordinance setting the ad valorem tax rate at $.4150 per $100.00
valuation for Fiscal Year 1995-1996 (FY96) and take any necessary action.
3. Consider authorizing the City Manager to enter into an interlocal agreement
with the City of Fort Worth for household hazardous waste collection, adoption
of a resolution of indemnification and take any necessary action.

CALL TO ORDER `
Mayor Tate called the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m.
ITEM 1 ORDINANCE ADOPT FISCAL YEAR 1995-1996 (FY96) BUDGET
City Manager Petty stated the proposed budget for Fiscal Year 1995-1996 (FY96)
requires a tax rate of 5.4150 (a reduction from 5.4250) and meets the stated goals
of the City Council. Mr. Petty requested the City Council consider the proposed
ordinance adopting the budget for FY96.
Council Member Johnson, seconded by Mayor Pro Tem Ware, offered a motion to
approve the ordinance adopting the budget for FY96. The motion prevailed by the
following vote:
Ayes: Tate, Ware, Spencer, Wilbanks, Traverse, Pittman & Johnson
Nays: None

ORDINANCE N0. 95-71
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
GRAPEVINE, TEXAS ADOPTING THE BUDGET FOR THE
CITY OF GRAPEVINE, TEXAS FOR THE FISCAL YEAR
BEGINNING OCTOBER 1 , 1995 AND ENDING
SEPTEMBER 30, 1996; PROVIDING FOR INTRA- AND
INTER-DEPARTMENTAL FUND TRANSFER; PROVIDING
FOR INVESTMENT OF CERTAIN FUNDS; DECLARING AN
EMERGENCY; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE
ITEM 2. ORDINANCE, ADOPT FISCAL YEAR 1995-1996 (FY96) AD VALOREM
TAX RATE
City Manager Petty recommended the City Council adopt an ordinance setting the ad
valorem tax rate at 5.4150 per S 100.00 valuation apportioned as follows:
General Fund $.2808
Debt Service Fund 5.1342
Council Member Wilbanks, seconded by Council Member Traverse, offered a motion
to adopt the ordinance setting the ad valorem tax rate at 5.4150 per S 100.00
valuation. The motion prevailed by the following vote:
Ayes: Tate, Ware, Spencer, Wilbanks, Traverse, Pittman & Johnson
Nays: None
ORDINANCE N0. 95-72
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF GRAPEVINE, TEXAS,
SETTING THE ANNUAL TAX RATE FOR TAX YEAR 1995;
LEVYING TAXES FOR THE TAX YEAR 1995 TO BE
ASSESSED ON ALL TAXABLE PROPERTY WITHIN THE
LIMITS OF THE CITY OF GRAPEVINE, TEXAS; PROVIDING
PENALTIES AND INTEREST FOR THE DELINQUENTTAXES;
DECLARING AN EMERGENCY AND PROVIDING AN
EFFECTIVE DATE
ITEM 3. RESOLUTION, AUTHORIZE INTERLOCAL AGREEMENT HOUSEHOLD
HAZARDOUS WASTE COLLECTION, CITY OF FORT WORTH
City Manager Petty requested the City Council enter into an interlocal agreement with
the City of Fort Worth for Household Hazardous Waste Collection and adopt a
resolution authorizing the City of Grapevine's participation in the Household Hazardous

Waste Collection Day. Grapevine has been requested to commit an amount not to
exceed $9,975.00.
Council Member Spencer, seconded by Council Member Traverse, offered a motion
to approve the interlocal agreement and adopt the resolution as recommended. The
motion prevailed by the following vote:
Ayes: Tate, Ware, Spencer, Wilbanks, Traverse, Pittman & Johnson
Nays: None
RESOLUTION NO. 95-28
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF :
GRAPEVINE, TEXAS PROVIDING FOR ENVIRONMENTAL
INDEMNIFICATION FOR CITIES' PARTICIPATION IN THE
HOUSEHOLD HAZARDOUS WASTE COLLECTION DAY
SPONSORED BY THE CITY OF FORT WORTH AND '
PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE
ADJOURNMENT
Council Member Spencer, seconded by Mayor Pro Tem Ware, offered a motion to
adjourn the meeting at 7:35 p.m. The motion prevailed by the following vote:
Ayes: Tate, Ware, Spencer, Wilbanks, Traverse, Pittman & Johnson
Nays: None
