HARDY, DIRECTOR OF DEVELOPMENT SERVICES) MEETING DATE: JANUARY 21, 2003 SUBJECT: ZONE CHANGE REQUEST Z02-10, CROSS CREEK RETAIL RECOMMENDATION: Staff recommends Council table Zone Change Request Z02-10 to the February 18, 2003 meeting and take any other action necessary. BACKGROUND INFORMATION: A zone change request was submitted by Wallcon Equities, Ltd. for property located at the southwest corner of F.M. 2499 and the Grapevine/Flower Mound city limit line. The applicant is seeking the rezoning of approximately 31 acres from "PID" Planned Industrial Development District to "CC" Community Commercial District for possible retail development. The applicant is requesting that the case be tabled to the February 18, 2003 meeting to allow for additional time to further refine the concept plan.
