SUBJECT: CHANGE ORDERS NO. 1 & 2 — SERVICE CENTER ELEVATED
STORAGE TANK
RECOMMENDATION:
City Council consider approving Change Orders No. 1 & 2 to the Service Center
Elevated Storage Tank Construction Contract in the amounts of $12,560.00 &
$10,498.85 respectively for various items required during the construction of the project,
authorize staff to execute said Change Orders, and take any necessary action.

BACKGROUND:

Change Orders No. 1 and No. 2 total $23,058.85. The items in the change orders are
as follows:
■ $6,560 which added two Antenna Rings around the tower column with hangers for
future cell antennae.
■ $11,550 for the original painting scheme agreed to by City staff and further
modifications to the scheme approved by Staff to ensure that the City logo and name
are more visible.
■ $4,948.85 to include installation of the traffic system antennae and wiring.
Staff recommends approval.
