The City Council Sub -Committee and staff recommend persons age 62 and over and
handicapped persons be included in the annual pass for residents for boat ramps. This
will make it consistent with the $13 camping fee that includes residents, persons age 62
and over and handicapped. Another recommended modification is for a $1 increase in
the fee for primitive camping and the one cabin at Silver Lake Campground to coincide
with the $1 increase the Council already approved for camping for non-residents.
Finally, the City Council Sub -Committee and staff recommend modifying the Park
Entrance fee from the current $3 per vehicle plus $1 per person not including the driver
to $1 per person to simplify the fee. Of all the fees, the park entrance fee is one that
staff has received the most complaints about.
