CALL TO ORDER
INVOCATION: Mayor Pro Tem Ted R. Ware
NEW BUSINESS
: 1 . City Council to canvass the May 7, 1995 City Officer/Municipal Court Judge
election, consider a resolution declaring the results and take any necessary
action.
2. City Secretary to administer the Oath of Office to Council Members Place 3 and
Place 4 and Municipal Court Judge.

The City Council of the City of Grapevine, Texas met in Special Session on this the
9th day of May, 1995 at 6:30 p.m. in the Council Chambers - Municipal Court Room
#205, 307 West Dallas Road, with the following members present to-wit:
William D. Tate Mayor
Ted R. Ware Mayor Pro Tem
Sharron Spencer Council Member
C. Shane Wilbanks Council Member
Gil Traverse Council Member
Jerry L. Pittman Council Member
constituting a quorum, with Council Member Will Wickman absent, with the following
members of the City Staff:
Trent Petty City Manager
Roger Nelson Assistant City Manager
Linda Huff City Secretary
CALL TO ORDER
Mayor Tate called the meeting to order at 6:35 p.m.
INVOCATION
Mayor Pro Tem Ware delivered the Invocation.
ITEM 1 . RESOLUTION. CANVASS 1995 CITY OFFICER AND MUNICIPAL COURT
JUDGE ELECTION
City Secretary Linda Huff recommended the City Council adopt a resolution declaring
the results of the May 6, 1995 City Officer and Municipal Court Judge election as
follows: Place 3, Clydene Johnson--624 votes; Place 4, Jerry L. Pittman--637 votes;
and Municipal Court Judge, David A. Florence--628 votes. She stated there are
19,688 registered voters in the City and 694 votes were cast in Saturday's election.
Council Member Wilbanks, seconded by Council Member Traverse, offered a motion
to adopt the resolution declaring the results of the election. The motion prevailed by
the following vote:

Ayes : Tate, Ware, Spencer, Wilbanks, Traverse & Pittman
Nays : None
Absent : Wickman
ITEM 2. OATH OF OFFICE
City Secretary Huff administered the Oath of Office to the following elected officials:
City Council, Place 3--Clydene Johnson; City Council, Place 4--Jerry L. Pittman and
Municipal Court Judge--David A. Florence.
ADJOURNMENT
Mayor Pro Tem Ware, seconded by Council Member Spencer, offered a motion to
adjourn the meeting at 6:43 p.m. The motion prevailed by the following vote:
Ayes: Tate, Ware, Spencer, Wilbanks, Traverse, Pittman & Johnson
Nays: None
PASSED AND APPROVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GRAPEVINE,
