CITIZEN COMMENTS

Secretary. In accordance with the Texas Open Meetings Act, the Board is restricted
in discussing or taking action during Citizen Comments.
NEW BUSINESS
2. Consider a resolution approving the City of Grapevine Crime Control and
Prevention District Fiscal Year 2016-2017 Budget and take any necessary action.
3. Consider the minutes of the September 15, 2015 and August 16, 2016 Board
meetings and take any necessary action.

The Crime Control and Prevention District Board of the City of Grapevine, Texas met on
this the 6th day of September, 2016 in the City Council Chambers, Second Floor, 200
South Main Street, with the following Board members present:

Presiding Officer Tate called the meeting to order at 7:33 p.m.
Item 1. Citizen Comments.
No one spoke during the Citizen Comments.
Item 2. Consider a resolution approving the City of Grapevine Crime Control and
Prevention District Fiscal Year 2016-2017 Budget and take any necessary action.
Chief Financial Officer Greg Jordan presented this item to the Board noting the proposed
budget is $14,288,193. The budget proposes using $1,066,177 to fund eleven new
positions for the new Public Safety building and lowering the sales tax projection.
Motion was made to approve the resolution approving the Fiscal Year 2016-2017 Crime
Control and Prevention District budget.

A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF THE CITY OF
GRAPEVINE CRIME CONTROL AND PREVENTION
DISTRICT BOARD ADOPTING AND PROPOSING A
BUDGET FOR THE FISCAL YEAR BEGINNING OCTOBER 1,
2016 AND ENDING SEPTEMBER 30,2017; AND PROVIDING
AN EFFECTIVE DATE
Item 3. Consider the minutes of the September 15, 2015 and August 16, 2016 Board
meetings and take any necessary action.
Motion was made to approve the minutes from the September 15, 2015 and August 16,
2016 meetings.
