RECOMMENDATION
City Council to consider Daniel W. Stump's (applicant) request for a one-year extension
to previously approved conditional use permit and take any necessary action.
BACKGROUND INFORMATION
Conditional Use Request CU99-53 (Ord. 99-155) was originally considered and
approved at the October 19, 1999 joint public hearing. At that meeting, the applicant
requested an amendment to the previously approved site plan of CU99-29 (Ord. 99-89)
for a planned commercial center, specifically to allow the development of a three story,
74 room, 45,715 square foot Main Stay Hotel and a three story, 77 room, 34,423 square
foot Sleep Inn with two monument signs. See the attached letter.
Staff recommends approval of the extension.
