:`» � LOCATED AT THE WEST END OF INWOOD STREET IN
°rvj � THE CITY OF GRAPEVINE, TEXAS AS HEREINAFTER
��-, DESCRIBED; PROVIDING A SEVERABILITY CLAUSE;
DECLARING AN EMERGENCY AND PROVIDING AN
EFFECTIVE DATE
°- WHEREAS, the property owner of Lot 3, Block 6, Manor Oaks Addition, recorded
`'�4 in Volume 388-40, Fage 34, �iat Records, Tarrar� Caunty, Texas, the property containing
a right of way, more specifically described in Exhibit "A" attached hereto and incorporated
`� herein for all purposes, has requested the right of way, as herein after described be
abandoned and vacated; and
WHEREAS, the right of way is not needed for public use and will not be needed in
the future for public use; and
WHEREAS, abandoning and vacating the said right of way will relieve the City of
�� Grapevine, Texas from the cost and expense of maintaining said property.
�;� NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
GRAPEVINE, TEXAS:
Section 1. That all matters stated in the preamble of this ordinance are true and
correct and are hereby incorporated into the body of this ordinance as if copied in their
entirety.
Section 2. That the right of way located within the property described in Exhibit
"A", attached hereto and incorporated herein for all purposes, is hereby abandoned and
vacated for public use and the same is hereby abandoned and vacated insofar as all public
right, title, interest in and to said right of way is concerned.
Section 3. That the terms and provisions of this ordinance shall be deemed to be
severable, �nd that if the validity of any section, subsection, word, sentence or phrase shall
be held to be invalid, it shall not affect the remaining part of this ordinance.
Section 4. The fact that the right of way is no longer needed by the public for
public usage and would create a hardship or burden upon the City of Grapevine to keep
open and maintain such right of way creates an urgency and an emergency for the
� immediate preservation of the public health, safety, and general welfare which requires that
this ordinance shall take effect immediately from and after its passage and it is accordingly
�-� so ordained.

AS SHOWN ON A PLAT RECORDED IN VOLUME 38$-40, PAGE 34, PLAT RECORDS,
TARRANT COUNTY, TEXAS, SAID PORTION BEING MORE PARTICULARLY DESCRIBED
BY METES AND BOUNDS AS FOLLOWS:
BEGINNING at a 1/2�� iron found at the northeast corner of said
Lot 6, being at the intcrsection of the south right-of-
� '� way line of Inwood Street, and the west right-of-way
: line of Manor Way;
THENC� N. 89°-45'-00"W. 140.00 feet along the north line of
� said Lot 6, to a 1/2"iron found at the northwest corner
. of same in the east line of Brookside Addition to the
City of Grapevine;
THENCE N. 00°-15'-00" E. 50.00 feet along said east line of
Brookside Addition, and the west line of Manor Oaks
Addition to the northwest corner of same;
THENCE S. 89°-45'-00" E. 140.00 feet along the south line of
Autumn Hills Addition to the City of Grapevine, being the
the north right-ow- way line of said Inwood Street to a
5/8" iron se1: in same at its intersection with the
extended west right-of-way line of Manor Way;
THENCE S. 00�-15"-00" W. 50.00 feet along said extended west
right-of-way line to the POINT OF BEGINNING, and
containing 7000 +/- square feet = 0.161 acres.
