This letter confirms on July 19, 2024 the Historic Preservation Staff approved with
conditions #CA24-11(C) for the property addressed 306 Austin Street, legally described as
Block 106, Lot 7 & 8, College Heights Addition, City of Grapevine. The Following was
approved on this Certificate of Appropriateness:
Install a cedar board on board fence with a wood top cap around the side yards
and back yard as follows:
a. 6' high on front edge of driveway from house to alley and driveway gate;
b. 8' high along alley way and new driveway gate;
c. 8' high along rear property line from alley toward Texas Street;
d. 6' high from rear fence back to north end of house;
e. 6' high pool equipment fence between the new garage and rear property
fence;
f. Install a 3' wide x 6' high gate in the fence along the driveway;
g. Install a 3' wide x 6' high gate in the fence on the north fence at East Texas
Street;
h. Install a 8' high fence between the new garage and the existing house;
as per the attached plan and photos with the condition a permit is obtained from the
Building Department.
An approved Cer ificate of Appropriateness is not an approved building permit; a
building permit is is not required. Contact the City of Grapevine's Building
Department at 817.410.3165 for fees and information regarding permits.
