HomeMy WebLinkAboutItem 20 - CU12-27 MC Corner ExtensionMEMO TO: HONORABLE MAYOR AND MEMBERS OF THE CITY COUNCIL MEMBERS FROM: BRUNO RUMBELOW, CITY MANAGER SCOTT WILLIAMS, DEVELOPMENT SERVICES DIRECTOR MEETING DATE: NOVEMBER 19, 2013 SUBJECT: EXTENSION OF CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT CU12-17 M C CORNER Staff has received a request from Anwar Dossani requesting a one-year extension to their previously approved Conditional Use Permit CU12-17 to demolish the existing structure and allow gasoline sales and the possession, storage, retail sale and off-premise consumption of alcoholic beverages (beer and wine only) in conjunction with a 3,395 - square foot convenience store to expire on July 11, 2014. BACKGROUND INFORMATION: Conditional Use Permit CU 12-24 was originally considered and approved at the July 11, 2012 Site Plan Review Committee hearing. Main Street Grapevine, Texas 76051 Re: MC Corner Conditional Use (CU- 12 -17) Expiration Extension Request Albert, Per your recent conversation with Jace Huffman, our engineer and project contact during the original CU approval, I am requesting from the City of Grapevine a one (1) year extension for the original MC Corner Conditional Use (CU- 12 -17) approval expiration of July 11, 2013. It is my understanding that the one (1) year extension will set the expiration date for the CU -12 -17 as July 11, 2014. Please respond as to any additional information which may be required.
