This letter confirms on August 28, 2024 the Historic Preservation Staff approved with
conditions #CA24-44 for the property addressed 212 East Texas Street, legally described as
Block 36, Lot 1, City of Grapevine to the Grapevine Historic Preservation Ordinance 91-73
(Appendix G — Grapevine Code of Ordinances), as amended, for the following-
1 . Remove existing wood fence and replace the fence with an eight foot tall cedar fence
with side -by -side picket placement, with a top cap; fence is to be stained ""Oxford
Brown" color;
2. At the front wall of the house on the west side, install a six foot tall cedar fence with
side -by -side picket placement with a top cap, stained "Oxford Brown color with a four
foot wide by six foot high wood gate to the rear yard; fence and gate to be set back 18"
from the front wall plane of the house;
3. Install a six -foot -tall black iron fence along the west side of property;
as per the attached photo examples with the condition a permit be obtained from the
Building Department.
An approved Certificate of Appropriateness is not an approved building permit; a
building permitis.is not required. Contact the City of Grapevine's Building
