The existing use of the building is family entertainment which includes bowling, arcade games, billiards, a bar and a restaurant component. This proposed submittal for Conditional Use approval involves alterations to the existing Main Event building on the exterior and interior. The exterior modifications are intended to modernize the outdated building look that currently exists. The interior modifications are to update the existing operation into a newer and better space. No site work will be done for this project as the building square footage is not being increased and the current conditions of the site match what the City has from existing plans. The existing seating count for this space is 560 and the new total seat count is 681 seats. However it should be noted that a majority of the new seat count total is comprised of non -fixed seats. There is a total of 371 food service seats (136 fixed, 176 loose, 19 bar seats and 40 counter seats), 202bowlin seats (140 fixed and 62 loose), and 108 meeting room non -fixed seats (for team building/presentations/large gatherings). With this request the applicant proposes minor exterior elevation and floor plan changes to the existing entertainment complex. The proposed exterior elevation changes include a new tower facade to the front entry canopy. The revised tower fagade will feature stucco, new tiles, fascia lighting, recessed lighting, a stone wall base and updated wall signage and graphics. The revised main entry maintains the overall height of 44.33 feet. The exterior will also receive new paint throughout. Floor plan modifications include reconfiguring the seating layout and game area adjacent to the main entry. The existing seat count accommodates 560 patrons.
