SUBJECT: PURCHASE RENEWAL OF POWERDMS PROFESIONAL
SUBSCRIPTION
RECOMMENDATION: City Council to consider approval for the purchase of PowerDMS
professional subscription renewal for the Police Department.
FUNDING SOURCE: Funds are available in the CCPD Fund for a total amount not to exceed
$17,929.
BACKGROUND: This purchase is for PowerDMS which is a comprehensive document
management and policy compliance software used to streamline and
enhance organizational operations. It offers features for securely
management, updating, and distributing critical documents such as
policies, procedures, and training materials. PowerDMS helps ensure that
employees have access to the most current policy information, supports
regulatory compliance, and improves overall efficiency by simplifying
document management processes.
This procurement will be made as a sole source in accordance with Local
Government Code Chapter 252, Subchapter B, § 252.022. General
Exemptions (a)(7)(A).
