HomeMy WebLinkAboutItem 03 - Z12-01 West Wall Street MEMO TO: HONORABLE MAYOR, CITY COUNCIL MEMBERS AND MEMBERS OF THE PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION FROM: BRUNO RUMBELOW, CITY MANAGER SCOTT WILLIAMS, DEVELOPMENT SERVICES DIRECTOR MEETING DATE: JUNE 19, 2012 SUBJECT: ZONE CHANGE APPLICATION Z12-01, WEST WALL STREET RECOMMENDATION Staff recommends the City Council and the Planning and Zoning Commission accept the applicant's request to withdraw zone change application Z12-01 without prejudice and take any other necessary action. BACKGROUND INFORMATION A zone change application was submitted by Shamrock Ventures Property Development, Inc. for property located at 1331 West Wall Street. It was the applicant's intent to rezone approximately .8 acres from "PO" Professional Office District to "R-7.5" Single Family District for the development of two residential lots. The applicant had previously requested that the zone change application be tabled to the June 19, 2012 meeting in order to make some minor changes to the proposal; however, the applicant is now asking to withdraw the request without prejudice.
