SUBJECT: APPROVAL OF THE ON-CALL SERVICES CONSTRUCTION
INSPECTION CONTRACT
RECOMMENDATION: City Council to consider the on-call construction inspection contract with
Ardurra Group, Inc.
FUNDING SOURCE: Funds will be available in the General Fund (various departments), Capital
Project Streets Fund, Utility Enterprise Fund and Storm Drainage Utility
Fund in an estimate amount of$75,000.
BACKGROUND: This agreement is to provide construction inspection duties and
responsibilities for construction phase activities related to City of
Grapevine construction projects on an as-needed basis. Ardurra will
provide part-time on-site technical observation of contractor activities to
verify and ensure all work materials, structures, equipment, and
workmanship comply with contract plans, documents, and City standards.
Ardurra will also provide materials testing coordination.
Staff recommends approval.
