SUBJECT: PURCHASE OF INTERNALLY LIGHTED STREET NAME (ILSN)ARMS
RECOMMENDATION: City Council to consider approval for the purchase of internally lighted
street name (ILSN) arms from Structural and Steel Products for the Public
Works Department.
FUNDING SOURCE: Funds are available in the Permanent Capital Maintenance Fund for an
amount not to exceed $30,150.
BACKGROUND: The purchase of these ILSN arms will be dedicated to SH360 at Stone
Myers and SH360 Euless Grapevine.
Informal quotes were taken in accordance with the City Purchasing Policy.
Formal bids and advertisements are not required for purchases under
$50,000. Three quotes were submitted as noted below. Structural and
Steel Products, Inc. submitted the lowest quote meeting specifications.

Redwine Wallace &Associates $33,289
Pelco Inc. No bid
Staff recommends approval.
