SUBJECT: CONDITIONAL USE REQUEST CU08-05A
RECOMMENDATION:
Staff recommends the City Council consider the applicant's request to table conditional use
permit request CU08-05A and the replat of Lot1 R2, Block 1 R, Classic Hummer Addition
and take any other action necessary.
BACKGROUND INFORMATION:
The applicant, Mr. Eric Kreiner, submitted a conditional use request and a replat for
property addressed as 2501 William D. Tate Avenue for the addition of additional acreage
for the expansion of an automobile dealership. Due to the desire of the property owner to
add additional acreage which was not included in the current request and incorporate
future improvements to the subject site,the applicant is asking to table the current request
to an unspecified date. Tabling the two requests will provide adequate time to research
and prepare all relevant documents for a comprehensive conditional use permit request
and replat. Please see the attached letter. The revised conditional use request and replat
will both be re-advertised and re-notified prior to Council consideration.

Dear Mr. Triplett:
This letter is to request that the Classic Hummer Addition Replat Lot 1 R2, Block 1 R
and Conditional Use Request CU08-05A be tabled. They are cur�ently scheduled for
the Tuesday, May 20, 2008 City Council and Planning & Zoning Commission
Meeting. The owner wishes to add an unplatted tract consisting of approximately 2.3
acres to the replat. The unplatted tract is located on the east side of the existing plat
at the northwest corner of Prospect Parkway and Stone Meyers Parkway. The
applicant will require additional time to update the replat and plans.

REPLAT OF LOT 1 R, BLOCK 1 R, CLASSIC HUMMER ADDITION
AND A 9.045 ACRE UNPLATTED TRACT)
RECOMMENDATION
City Council consider the applicant's request to table the replat of Lot 1 R2, Block 1 R1,
Classic Hummer Addition and take any necessary action.
BACKGROUND INFORMATION
The applicant, Christopher Jones with Pacheco Koch Consulting, Inc., submitted a replat
of the property located at State Highway 121 and Prospect Parkway for the expansion of
the existing Classic Hummer property. Since the initial submittal, the property owner has ,,�
decided to add additional acreage for the fleet dealership and service center which was not
included in the current request.
The applicant has requested the City table the current request to an unspecified date.
Tabling the plat will provide adequate time for the owner and his consultant to prepare a
new development plan and provide all relevant documents for a comprehensive plat and
conditional use request.
The revised re-plat and conditional use request will be re-advertised and submitted to the
Planning and Zoning Commission and the City Council for consideration at a future joint
meeting.
