The next Regular Meeting of the Grapevine Heritage Foundation Advisory Board will be held on
Wednesday, December 11, 2024 at 5:00 pm at the Grapevine Convention & Visitors Bureau, 2nd
Floor Board Room, 636 South Main Street, Grapevine, Texas. If you plan to attend this public
meeting and you have a disability requiring special arrangements, please contact the Office of
Historic Preservation at 817-410-3185 at least 24 hours in advance. Reasonable accommodations
will be made to assist your needs.
In accordance with Texas Government Code, Chapter 551.001 et seq. Acts of the 1993 Texas
Legislature, the Grapevine Heritage Foundation Board meeting agenda was prepared and posted
on this, the 1 st day of November 2024 at 5:00 pm.

The Grapevine Heritage Foundation (GHF) held their scheduled Annual Meeting of the
Membership at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, November 7, 2024 at the Ted R. Ware Plaza
International Sister Cities Friendship Hall at 619 South Church Street, Grapevine, Texas
76051.

Vice -Chairman Frances Jensen welcomed everyone to the Ted Ware Plaza; Balla
Wright gave the invocation before the meal from Bartley's BBQ.
Vice -Chairman Jensen Introduced the Grapevine Heritage Foundation Board. Then
called the meeting to order at 6:26 p.m.
II. CITIZEN COMMENTS
Any person who is not scheduled on the agenda may address the Grapevine Heritage
Foundation under Citizen Comments by completing a Citizen Appearance Request form. In
accordance with the Texas Open Meetings Act, the Advisory Board is restricted in discussing or
taking action during Citizen Comments.
There were no citizen comments.
III. PRESENTATION: Year in Review by Vice -Chairman Frances Jensen

Annual Meeting of Membership

A. GrapeFest® ItalianCarFest donation of $2,500.00 was presented by the
Festival & Event Manager Brian Gentry to GHF Treasurer Stephanie Wright.
Treasurer Wright said this was the loth Annual ItalianCarFest® at Nash Farm, we are so
pleased to welcome the beautiful event to Nash Farm each year!
B. Membership Report - David Klempin the Manager of the Heritage Programs
& Preservation presented the Membership Report. He said there are 170 active
memberships for the past year; we have received $11,675.00 in dues; we have received
$5,615.00 in donations and have sold 12 memorial bricks
C. Palace Theatre Report was presented by Frances Jensen. There were 10
First Friday Movies; the total movie attendance was 1,075; with 390 events throughout
the year bringing in 57,321 people to the Palace Theatre.
D. Nash Farm Report presented by Cody Scallions. He reported there was
10,445 in casual visitation; 15 events bringing in 5,204 people; 8 first Friday events with
2,003 tickets sold; 47 tours with 3,414 people' and 4 rentals of Nash Farm bring in 610
people bring in a grand total of 22,802 visitors and we had 1639 volunteer hours logged
for the year.
E. Plans for the New Year presented by Vice -Chairman Frances Jensen. The
Membership committee plans to increase the membership to 180 members in the next
year. Plans are being made to host a Porch Party in the spring of 2025 and encourage
members to join the annual Spring Fundraiser Dinner and the Harvest Moon Supper.
The Palace Theater goal is to upgrade the lighting at the Lancaster Theater and add
additional live shows and increase corporate business.
Nash Farm Goals are to increase attendance to 30,000; bolster volunteer opportunities
and complete the special wagon storage barn.
IV. ADJOURNMENT
Vice -Chairman Jensen adjourned the meeting at 6:57 p.m.
