BACKGROUND INFORMATION The City Council and the Planning and Zoning Commission considered and approved a conditional use request (CU06-55) to establish a planned commercial center on a 17 - acre tract located at the southwest corner of State Highway 121 and Grapevine Mills Boulevard. This project was intended to be multi -phased with the first phase consisting of approximately 49,000 square feet of retail space. This first phase (the proposed Lot 5AR2) has been completed. With this request the applicant intends to subdivide the original Lot 5A into two lots (proposed Lots 5AR1 and 5AR2) for taxing purposes. The City Council may grant one additional extension not exceeding one (1) year, upon written application, without notice or hearing.
