HomeMy WebLinkAboutItem 04 - Sunbelt Rentals TO: HONORABLE MAYOR, CITY COUNCIL MEMBERS AND THE PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION FROM: BRUNO RUMBELOW, CITY MANAGER ERICA MAROHNIC, DIRECTOR, PLANNING SERVICES MEETING DATE: DECEMBER 17, 2024 SUBJECT: CONDITIONAL USE APPLICATION CU24-48A; SUNBELT RENTALS RECOMMENDATION: Staff recommends the City Council and the Planning and Zoning Commission accept the applicant’s request to table conditional use application CU24-48A to the January 21, 2025 meeting, and take any other necessary action. BACKGROUND: Conditional use permit CU24-48A is a request to amend the previously approved site plan CU23-05 (Ord. 2023-018) to allow sales and rental of heavy equipment and machinery. This request is specifically to allow a monument sign to exceed maximum height and effective area requirements along Texan Trail in the “BP”, Business Park District and is currently under construction for Sunbelt Rentals, addressed as 1035 Texan Trail.
