This letter confirms on December 13, 2024 the Historic Preservation Staff approved with
conditions #CA24-70 for the property addressed 404 East Franklin Street, legally described
as Block 30, Lot 3 & 4, Yates & Jenkins Addition, City of Grapevine to the Grapevine Historic
Preservation Ordinance 91-73 (Appendix G — Grapevine Code of Ordinances), as amended,
for the following:
1. Install a seven foot tall, cedar, board on board fence along the north property line
and along the property line in the rear yard of the house; a connector between the
east property line and the house;
2. Install a four foot high iron fence between the house and the detached garage with
an iron passage gate;
3. Install a six foot tall by sixteen foot wide driveway gate between the rear wall of the
house and the west property line;
as per the attached site plan and specification sheets with the conditions a permit be
obtained from the Building Services Department.
An approved Certificate of Appropriateness is not an approved building permit; a
building permit is / is not required. Contact the City of Grapevine's Building
Department at 817.410.3165 for fees and information regarding permits.
