GRAPEVINE HOUSING AUTHORITY OFFICE 131 STARR PLACE, GRAPEVINE, TEXAS CALL TO ORDER REGULAR MEETING CITIZEN COMMENTS 1. Any person who is not scheduled on the agenda may address the Board of Commissioners under Citizen Comments or on any other agenda item by completing a Citizen Appearance Request form with the Executive Director. A member of the public may address the Board of Commissioners regarding an item on the agenda either before or during the Board's consideration of the item, upon being recognized by the Chair of the Board or upon the consent of the Board. Citizens will have 3 minutes to address the Board of Commissioners. In accordance with the Texas Open Meetings Act, the Board is restricted in discussing or taking action during Citizen Comments. REPORT OF THE EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR (INFORMATIONAL ONLY) 2. Status of Grapevine Housing Authority A. Rent Delinquency and Information Sheet B. Capital Funds Report and Work in Progress C. Report of Public Housing Activity and Issues through January 20, 2025 D. Quarterly Investment Report for Quarter 4 2024 NEW BUSINESS 3. Consideration of the minutes from the December 12, 2024, meeting and take any necessary action. 4. Consideration and approval for the Executive Director to purchase additional equipment for the existing camera system. 5. Consideration and acceptance of the November 2024 monthly financial statements and take necessary action. 6. Report by the Ex Officio member of the Senior Citizens Advisory Board on the January 7, 2025, meeting. State of Texas County of Tarrant City of Grapevine The Board of Commissioners of the City of Grapevine Housing Authority met in a Regular Sessions on this the 23rd day of January 2025, in the Conference Room of the Grapevine Housing Authority, 131 Starr Place, with the following members present to wit: Linda Troeger Chair Bonnie McHugh Vice Chair Bruce Woodward Financial Officer Teri Rhodes -Cantu Commissioner Ron Moxom Resident Commissioner Constituting a quorum, with the following also present: Duff O'Dell City Council Liaison Jane Everett Executive Director Call to Order Chairperson Troeger called the meeting to order at 4:01 p.m. Item #1 - Citizen Comments No Citizen comments submitted. Item # 2 - Reoort of the Executive Director (Informational Only) A. Rent Delinouencv and Information Sheet The Executive Director reported to the Board on the rent delinquencies, number of empty units, work orders and statistical information for the waiting list for Public Housing through January 20, 2025. B. Capital Funds Reoort and Work in Pro4ress The Executive Director reported to the Board on the current Capital Funds and corresponding projects. C. Reoort of Public Housina Activitv and Issues The Executive Director provided the Board with an update of the replacement of defective smoke/CO alarms in every unit. An update from the January 17, 2025, RAB meeting was provided. D. Quarterly Investment Reoort for Quarter 4 2024 The Executive Director presented the Board with the Quarterly Investment Portfolio Report for Quarter 4 2024. NEW BUSINESS Item #3 - Consideration of the minutes from the December 12. 2024. meeting and take anv necessary action. The Board was provided the minutes from the December 12, 2024, meeting for approval. Commissioner Moxon moved and Commissioner McHugh seconded to approve the December 12, 2024, minutes as presented. Ayes: Troeger, Woodward, McHugh, Rhodes -Cantu and Moxom Nays: None Motion passed: 5-0 Item #4 — Consideration and aooroval for the Executive Director to purchase additional eouk)ment for the existing camera system. The Executive Director presented the Board with a proposal of two options to purchase additional equipment for the existing camera system. Commissioner Rhodes -Cantu moved and Commissioner Moxom seconded to approve option 2 of purchasing a replacement 64 channel NVR system. Ayes: Troeger, Woodward, McHugh, Rhodes -Cantu and Moxom Nays: None Motion passed: 5-0 Item #5 - Consideration and acceptance of the November 2024 monthly financial statements and take necessary action. The Executive Director presented the Board with an electronic copy of the November 2024 financial statements for their review. Commissioner Woodward moved and Commissioner McHugh seconded to approve the November 2024 financial statements. Ayes: Troeger, Woodward, McHugh, Rhodes -Cantu and Moxom Nays: None Motion passed: 5-0 Item #6 — Vice Chair McHugh to report on the Senior Citizens Advisory Board meetinU held on the January 7. 2025. Vice Chair McHugh provided an update. Officials at the City reported on the record attendance during the Christmas Capital activities. No action was taken. ADJOURNMENT Commissioner Woodward moved and Commissioner Rhodes -Cantu seconded that the meeting be adjourned.
