Site Plan Review Committee to consider a public hearing relative to Conditional Use Request CU16-36 addressed as 2401 Bass Pro Drive, and consideration of same. III. MINUTES A. ACTS OF ••3 TEXAS LEGISLATURE, PLAN REVIEW COMMITTEE MEETING AGENDA WAS PREPARED AND POSTED ON THIS THE 2ND DAY OF DECEMBER 2016 AT /1 l C ► ,r/ - ►NNER 11 1' OPMENT SERDEVELVICES SITE PLAN REVIEW COMMITTEE DECEMBER 7, 2016 STATE OF TEXAS COUNTY OF TARRANT CITY OF GRAPEVINE The Site Plan Review Committee of the City of Grapevine, Texas met in Session, on this the 7t" day of December 2016, in the Planning and Zoning Conference Room, 200 South Main Street, Second Floor, Grapevine, Texas with the following members present -to -wit: Larry Oliver Chairman Darlene Freed Member Scott Williams Member Constituting a quorum with the following City Staff: Ron Stombaugh Development Services Assistant Director Albert Triplett Jr. Planner II Susan Batte Planning Technician Larry Oliver called the meeting to order at 1:30 p.m. Iim,I:a1 ���T►!1��y CONDITIONAL USE APPLICATION CU16-35 — ESPARZA'S RESTAURANT First for the Committee to consider was conditional use application CU16-35 for property located at 124 East Worth Street and platted as Lot 2RA, Block 32, City of Grapevine Addition. The applicant was requesting a conditional use permit to amend the previously approved site plan of CU11-20 (Ord. 2011-44) to allow an expansion to the kitchen area, revised floor plan and revised exterior elevations to the existing restaurant. The applicant proposed a 723 -square foot expansion to the south and west elevations to accommodate one additional restroom and a kitchen expansion. After a brief discussion regarding parking, Darlene Freed moved to approve conditional use application CU16-35. Scott Williams seconded the motion, which prevailed by the following vote: Ayes: Oliver, Freed and Williams Nays: None 120716 1 SITE PLAN REVIEW COMMITTEE DECEMBER 7, 2016 CONDITIONAL USE APPLICATION CU16-36 — EMBASSY SUITES Next for the Committee to consider was conditional use application CU16-36 for property located at 2401 Bass Pro Drive and platted as Lot 1A, Block 1, Grapevine Mills Phase 2. The applicant was requesting a conditional use permit to amend the previously approved site plan of CU97-61 (Ord. 97-127) to modify the exterior elevations of an existing hotel. The applicant proposed removing portions of the existing stone fagade along the northwest and northeast elevations and replace the stone on the first floor and up to the third floor along both the northwest and northeast elevations with exterior insulation and finish system (EFIS). After a brief discussion, Scott Williams moved to approve conditional use application CU1 6-36. Darlene Freed seconded the motion, which prevailed by the following vote: Ayes: Oliver, Freed and Williams Nays: None CONSIDERATION OF MINUTES Next for the Committee to consider were the Site Plan Review Committee minutes of November 2, 2016. Larry Oliver moved to approve the Site Plan Review Committee minutes of November 2, 2016.
