Dunaway has reviewed the sketch and the repair plan proposed for the subject
location regarding the installation of Jack Pads and treated beams. Based on
the Information provided by the client, the repair plan should stabilize the
foundation movement that has been experienced at the subject location
provided proper installation techniques are used based on the ordinances for
solid concrete block installation under the foundation footing. The repair should
be performed per the manufacturer's recommendations, industry standards,
and all applicable codes including the 2021 IRC. A foundation maintenance
program should be implemented and can be obtained at the Foundation
Performance Association website.
