This letter confirms on March 3, 2025 the Historic Preservation Commission approved with
conditions #CA25-17 for the property addressed 422 South Dooley Street, legally described
as Block 33, Lot 7& E35'8, City of Grapevine Texas. The following was approved on this
Certificate of Appropriateness:
Regarding the Historic Preservation Commission Outcome Letter for Case #CA25-06;
1. Construct the detached two -car garage with additions originally approved with
#CA24-32 using wood siding and wood trim to match that of the main house;
2. Paint the building in a new color scheme as follows: Body of Garage — Sherwin
Williams #SW 7005 "Pure White"; Wood Trim — Sherwin Williams #SW 6258
"Tricorn Black",
as per the attached plans, photos and paint cards with the conditions a building
permit is obtained from the Building Services Department.
An approved Certificate of Appropriateness is not an approved building permit; a
building permit is / is not required. Contact the City of Grapevine's Building
Department at 817.410.3165 for fees and information regarding permits.
