UES Report No. F241078-1485293
UES arrived on site to perform a Visual Structural Steel Inspection/Re-inspection for the above referenced
project. Results of the inspection are as follows:
*NOTE(1): The ¾”x6”x6” joist girder stabilizer plates –lines 19 & B to E and lines 1 & B to E
were not installed at time of inspection. See detail 207/S5.01 and NOTE(1) from report dated
10/18/24.
*NOTE(2): The welding of the deck support angles in lines 1 & A to F, lines 1 to 7 & F and lines
1 to 7 & A was incomplete at time of inspection. Work was in progress. See details 202/S5.01,
203/S5.01, 205/S5.01, 213/S5.01 and 214/S5.01.
(NOTE(3): The bridging terminations along line 19 and along line 1 were incomplete at time of
inspection. See NOTE(3) from report dated 10/18/24
*NOTE(4): The deck support angles at the expansion joint in lines 7/A and 7/F have not been
installed per details 216/S5.01 and 217/S5.01. Deck ledger angles do not have long slotted
holes in them. Screw anchors, in what appears to be standard size holes, were used to attach
the angles to the precast panels. Details call for long slotted holes in the deck ledger angle
and ¾” diameter threaded studs welded to the precast panel embeds. Refer to EOR.
*NOTE(5): The joist seat to precast panel at panel joist welded connection - panels P34 & P34
- is incomplete. See detail 206/S5.01, item 1(C) from report dated 10/18/24 and item 1(C) from
report dated 10/14/24
*NOTE(6): A325 bolted connections, diagonal brace welded connections, column anchor bolt
connections, beam to panel connections, and joist girder to beam connections (sliding side
and fixed side) at the expansion joints in lines 7 and 13 need to be inspected.
I HSS(10”x10) Colum to Column Sleeve Welded Connections – lines 2 to 8 & B to E – sheet S1.01
A Inspected connections in the referenced lines have been completed per the contract drawing
and details. Reference details 102/S4.01, 10/S0.04 and detail “A” on sheet AR102.
II Joist To Precast Panel Welded Connections - lines A to F & 7 to 1 – sheets S2.02 & S2.01 – item
1(A) – item 1(A) – Report 1477185
A The joist to joist seat and joist seat to panel welded connections in the referenced lines were
inspected per the structural drawings and RFI #33.*It was noted that bolts were not
installed in joist seats fabricated with slotted holes. Per the ERECTOR NOTE on the
joist drawing, bolts are required in joist seats with slotted holes. When bolts cannot
be installed, or are removed, additional weld must be placed in slotted holes.
Additional weld was being added in the slotted holes at time of inspection.Other than
noted above, inspected connections along line A & 1 to 7 were welded out per plan and the
inspected connections along lines F & 1 to 7 were welded per plan and were compliant per
RFI #33.

III Joist to Joist Girder, Joist Girder to Column and Joist Girder to Panel Welded Connections – lines A
to F & 1 to 7
A The joist to joist girder welded connections in the referenced lines were inspected per the
contract drawings. Bolts were not installed in slotted holes in the joist seats. Per the
ERECTOR NOTE on joist drawing sheet J1.0, bolts are required in joist seats with slotted
holes. When bolts cannot be installed, or are removed, additional weld must be placed in
slotted holes. At inspected locations - additional welds have been added at the joist seats as
required.
B Joist girder to column welded connections in the lines 2 to 7 & B to E were inspected per
detail 209/S5.01. At inspected locations, the joist girder to column connections appeared to
be per detail and visually acceptable.
C Joist girder to panel connections in lines 19 & B to E were inspected per details 208/S5.01
and 207/S5.01. Inspected joist girder to panel embed connections appeared to be completed
per detail and were visually acceptable.
IV Type 1.5 Roof Decking – lines 7 to 13 & A to F – sheets S2.02, D2.1, D2.2 and D1.0
A The fastening of the roof decking in the referenced lines was inspected per the schedule on
NEW MILLENNIUM sheet D1.0. Inspected decking was fastened to the steel supports with
HILTI powder actuated fasteners on a 36/7 pattern. Inspected side laps were fastened with
TEK screw on 24” centers max.
*Discrepancies, if any, are noted above in bold.
