Based on visual observation of the exposed building pad and results of the above described lime series, it is recommended the building pad cap be mechanically lime stabilized with a minimum 6% hydrated lime. Based on a dry unit soil weight of 100pcf, this percent equates to:  27 lbs. of hydrated lime per square yard for 6” thick compacted thickness.
