HomeMy WebLinkAboutItem 06 - Wine House TO: HONORABLE MAYOR, CITY COUNCIL MEMBERS AND THE PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION FROM: BRUNO RUMBELOW, CITY MANAGER ERICA MAROHNIC, DIRECTOR, PLANNING SERVICES MEETING DATE: APRIL 15, 2025 SUBJECT: ZONE CHANGE Z24-01 AND CONDITIONAL USE APPLICATION CU24-09; GRAPEVINE WINE HOUSE RECOMMENDATION: Staff recommends the Planning and Zoning Commission and City Council accept the applicant’s request to withdraw Zone Change application Z24-01, and Conditional Use application CU24-09 without prejudice, and take any other necessary action. BACKGROUND: The request is to rezone 0.23 acre from “R-7.5”, Single Family District to “CBD”, Central Business District. The applicant is also requesting a conditional use permit to allow the possession, storage, and retail sale of alcoholic beverages (wine only) for on- and off- premise consumption, in conjunction with a wine-tasting room. The applicant now requests to withdraw the requests without prejudice. The intention is to continue working on this proposal for the subject site.
