TO: Grapevine City Council Members and Planning and Zoning
Commisioners
Dear Members of the Council and Commission,
We are writing to express our support of Grape Creek Winery
tasting room at 406 S.Main. As community members dating
back at least 6 generations here in Grapevine it is very important
to us that buildings are used in a thriving manner and are
preserved for generations to come.
Grape Creek is a clear champion of its industry and would be a
welcome addition to Main Street. It is exciting that such a big
well -respected name wants to plant roots in Grapevine. Having
a solid brand such as Grape Creek seek to do business here is a
high complement to our great city. I have visited some of their
other properties and they are world class. They will be a great
fit in the city that we all love.
We respectfully urge you to approve their conditional use
permit.
Sincerely,
Shawn and Kathy Spradley

To: Grapevine City Council Members and Planning and Zoning Commissioners
Dear Members of the Council and Commission,
I am writing to express my strong support for the proposed Grape Creek Winery tasting
room at 406 S. Main Street. As a member of the Hall family, who migrated to Grapevine in
1878 - and has six generations of our own blood and family stilt going right here in this town
- we support this effort.
In addition to being a highly respected Texas winery with successful tasting room locations
in historic districts such as Fredericksburg and Georgetown, Grape Creek has
demonstrated a consistent commitment to honoring and enhancing the character of the
communities they join. Their proposal for 406 S. Main includes a thoughtful and well -
planned restoration of a historically significant building in the heart of Grapevine —a project
that will preserve and elevate a cherished part of our city's architectural heritage.
By restoring and reactivating this site with care and purpose, Grape Creek Winery will not
only preserve a piece of Grapevine's history but also reinvigorate it as a vibrant anchor on
Main Street. Their tasteful aesthetic restrained hours of operation, and collaborative
approach to neighboring businesses will attract both locals and visitors, enriching the
broader downtown experience.
Importantly, their guests —often seeking a relaxed, upscale experience —are also frequent
patrons of nearby shops and restaurants. This synergistic dynamic will help sustain and
grow Main Street's diverse business ecosystem.
I believe Grape Creek's thoughtful restoration and responsible operation make this an ideal
fit for Grapevine. I respectfully urge you to approve their conditional use permit.
Thank you for your time and consideration.
Sincerely,
i
