This letter confirms on December 14, 2016 the Historic Preservation Commission approved
with conditions #CAI 6-114 for the property addressed 404 East Wall Street, legally
described as Block.- Lot 1 B LTS 1 B & 2, G.E. Hurst Addition, Grapevine, Texas. The following
was approved on this Certificate of Appropriateness. -
1. Remove the non-contributing carport addition, bath and laundry room addition on
the east end of the house, built in the 1960s,
2. Renovate the original house and construct anew 1 -story addition on the east end
of the house;
3. A variance be granted to allow for construction of a new garage to exceed 500
square feet;
as per attached plans following the design guidelines established for the property,
with the conditions a building permit is obtained from the building department and all
exterior materials, windows, doors and door hardware, light fixtures and paint colors
be approved under a separate Certificate of Appropriateness.
An approved Certificate of Appropriateness is not an approved Building Permit and a
permit (,is is not required. Contact the C"Ity of Grapevine's Building Department at
81 7-410- 65 for fees and information regarding permits.
