The Committee is looking at having a GHF table during the Ice Cream Social. The GHF
Porch Party will be moved to a cooler time in the fall, we could do more planning and
prepare flyers to invite neighbors. The Committee is working with social media to bring
awareness of the Heritage Foundation by sharing the benefits of membership.

beautiful weather to achieve the result.
5. NEW BUSINESS
A. Upcoming Events and Activities — David Klempin
David Klempin reported on the 2026 Calendar. We have an outline that was started by Sallie
Andrews. A handout was distributed with some concepts and ideas. We would like to focus on
the GHF, NF and Palace Volunteers in this year's calendar. The committee will develop a tag
line and collect more photos of volunteers. Frances Jensen and Kim Hale volunteered for the
calendar committee.
The Chairman reminded all that the Ice Cream Social is the next NF event. It will be held
Saturday, July 12 from 7 to 9 p.m. We need Board volunteers to sign up and have a presence
there. Last year we had the historic gramophone with dancing and a soda jerk. Austin
Kellerman volunteered to scoop ice cream. 1920's attire is recommended. We could suggest
guests bring a picnic and enjoy ice cream.
Regarding the Porch party, it was suggested we find a new date and time and the need for a
planning committee.
The next Candlelight Tour of Homes will be in 2026. It has been adjusted to Sunday in the
past because of a conflict with the Grace Gala. Chairman Stanfield is hoping to move it back
to a Saturday. Wendy Nelson suggested we need to make sure there are no Cowboys or
College Football Game conflicts.
Chairman Stanfield brought up the GHF Annual meeting, that will be held on Thursday,
November 6, 2025. The notice/invitations will need to go out a month before. Possibly
rename or add a theme to the meeting. We could have a quick annual meeting and follow it
with a fun appreciation event and some awards for special people and volunteers.
