The Board of Commissioners of the City of Grapevine Housing Authority met in Regular Session on the 26th day of
June 2025, in the Conference Room of the Grapevine Housing Authority, 131 Starr Place, with the following members
present to wit:
Linda Troeger
Bonnie McHugh
Bruce Woodward
Teri Rhodes -Cantu
Ron Moxom
Chair
Vice Chair
Financial Officer

Constituting a quorum, with the following also present:

Call to Order
Chairperson Troeger called the meeting to order at 4:00 p.m.
Item #1 - Citizen Comments
No Citizen comments submitted.
Item # 2 - Reoort of the Executive Director (Informational Only)
A. Rent Delinauencv and Information Sheet
The Executive Director reported to the Board on the rent delinquencies, number of empty units, work
orders and statistical information for the waiting list for Public Housing through June 23, 2025. The
Executive Director also reported on the average days to close the May work orders. The Board asked
how the new maintenance structure with the City of Grapevine was going. Jeff Strawn and Jane Everett
reported the City approved to hire a maintenance person for the housing authority and they would report
directly to the Executive Director. Executive Director Everett is working on a job description and
transition plan.
B. Capital Funds Reoort and Work in Progress
The Executive Director reported to the Board on the current Capital Funds and corresponding projects;
including the ADA ramp installed in front of 106 Starr Place was completed.
C. Reoort of Public Housina Activitv and Issues
The Executive Director updated the Board the housing authority was a victim of mistaken identity on
TikTok.
D, Update from the Resident Advisory meeting held on June 20, 2025.
Elections were held at the June 20, 2025, meeting for the Resident Advisory Board President and Vice
President. Wynell Baker was elected the President and Terry Haflich was elected to stay on as Vice
President.
Texas Hitz and Vicki Howell won BINGO and Galina Fedorova won the $20 Wal-Mart gift card donated by
the Bereans. The residents enjoyed a lunch of chicken and ham salad on croissants, kale salad and
brownies for dessert.
NEW BUSINESS
Item #3 - Consideration of the minutes of the Mav 22. 2025 meetina and take necessary action.
The Board was provided with the minutes from the May 22, 2025, meeting for approval.
Commissioner Rhodes -Cantu made the motion and Commissioner Moxom seconded to approve the May 22, 2025,
minutes as presented.
Ayes: Troeger, McHugh, Woodward, Rhodes -Cantu and Moxom
Nays: None
Motion passed: 5-0
Item #4 - Consideration and acceptance of the April and May 2025 monthly financial statements and take necessary
action.
The Executive Director presented the Board with electronic copies of the April and May 2025 financial statements for
their review. Commissioner Woodward reviewed the financial statements and reported he found them to be
acceptable
Commissioner Woodward made the motion and Commissioner McHugh seconded to approve the April and May 2025
financial statements.
Ayes: Troeger, McHugh, Woodward, Rhodes -Cantu and Moxom
Nays: None
Motion passed: 5-0
ADJOURNMENT
Commissioner Rhodes -Cantu made the motion and Commissioner Woodward seconded that the meeting be
adjourned.
Ayes: Troeger, McHugh, Woodward, Rhodes -Cantu and Moxom
Nays: None
Motion passed: 5-0
