Superintendent CALL TO ORDER Danny Langley called the meeting to order at 5:01 p.m. CITIZEN COMMENTS There were no citizen comments. ITEM I — Update Front Entrance to Golf Course Russell gave update lo,l/ront entrance of Gol/'(1'ourse. Landscapi . ng would be added as well as the reinoval elf the split rail, fiance, and the addilion o,fthe naine onto the ,stone entrance. ITEM 2 — Update Restrooms on Crolf Course Russell showed pictures of 'the newly delivered resirooms and commented that all that remained to he done was to hook up the plumbing and electrical. Merlin added that some additional concrete work would also be needed around the apron of buildings. Merlin also added that streets would deliver a roller to repair any damages done to the lurfwhen the buildings were installed. ITEM 3 — Addition of Forward Tees on forward tee box Russell talked about the addition qfasel elf Green Tee Markers on the forward lee box. Russell inentioned that he has asked jor./eedback in his newsletter from those players having played ftoin the new lees. Russell also mentioned that the course would be raledftoni the new set of tee} an added to the scorecard ITEM 4 — Addition of Shawn Huint)hries Golf Academy Russell talked about the addilion GolI'Academy to the Grapevine Golf Course. Shawn has between 5 0- 55 students in his Junior program. Each Sludent will be charged S59.95/month to be paid inonihly by Shawn 11uniphries. Mike lease asked about non affiliated instructors at the {golf course. The discussion was to whether or not the Go4'Course could charge these non affiliated instructors aftefiv their use elf 'theJacility. Robert Singlelarysaid that when we posted the new Practice Range Rules at the Range, that we would add "ah' non Grapevine approved Instructors must regisier,,vilh thefticility in the (.-;o4'Shop. ITEM 5 — Nomination for all of honor John McGrane had nominated Michelle Isbell to be place on the Wall ql'Ilonor. The nomination was, olyqroved by Bruno Rutnhelow. Danny Langley had nominated Phil Parker to Put on the Wall elf Honor. Phil's nomination had not been approved by Bruno Rumbelow at this time. Discussion of doing the ceremonies together or Separate was discussed and doing them separate sometime in the spring was discussed ITEM 6 —Discussion of Lone Ranae Plan Russell talked about the Long Range Plan and that the sub committee., DannY Langley Tom Kormondy, and Mike Lease) would put together a list cif projects to prioritize. Some items discussed were: Clubhouse, Practice range expansion and upgrade Bunker work on the course. Mike Lease spoke of'ihe Quality o,('Li/e Fund to hell) with ihe,ffinding o)"these projects. City Council was to put together a list of possible pr(ljecls throughout the Cily and citizens would have the opportunity to give then- input on such prqjects through a survey Inji out try the City. Mika said it was inti)orlunl to lel,�>olPers that (ire citizens to make their input known on said survey. Discussionftom Danny Langley on the lease from the ("orp qfT"ngineers coming due in 2016 and has any contact been made with the Corp regarding this. Russell committed that he had been in contact at the end o the year regarding ajew questions that they had, non qf'which were about the lease. ITEM 6 — GOLF COURSE MAINTENANCE REPORT Merlin reported that they were getting ready. far winter maintenance projects: Bunker work equipment maintenance, tree trimming to list aftb) projects CONSIDERATION OF MINUTES Consideration to approve the minutes,,Ir�oni the April 24, 2014 meeting. Tom Kormon,# made the motion to approve the minutes and Gary Davis seconded the motion. All in Favor: a// A// opposed: none ADJOURNMENT Danny Langley asked for a motion to adjourn the meeting.
