PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION
Because you are a property owner within 200 feet of the subject tract of land as shown by
the last City-approved tax rolls, you received this notice. If you cannot or do not wish to
attend the hearing, the attached form is provided for your convenience. If owners of more
than 20% of the property within 200 feet of the subject tract object to the case, a 3/4 vote
of the City Council is required to approve the request.

The public hearing is to consider an application submitted by Baird Hampton & Brown, Inc. for
property located at 803 East Northwest Highway, platted as Block 1, Lot 4R1, Opryland Second
Addition. This request is to allow a new bank with a dual-lane drive-through in a planned
commercial center. The property is zoned “CC”, Community Commercial District and is owned by
Westwood Group Development NO II LP.

the NBT site larger/ more legible on a printed 11x17 sheet

provide the percentage of the total sign that is changeable copy, specifically to show that it is
less than 30 percent.

Reduce light levels at ground level of all property lines of the subject property to the following
levels based on the zoning of the adjacent proper es:
· Single-family – 0.2 footcandles
· Multi-family – 0.5 footcandles
· Non-residential districts, streets – 3.0 footcandles
· Industrial districts – 5.0 footcandles
· ADDRESSED PS41. Show (elevations) a light fixture, including the base, dimensioned. Make sure
the height, including the base, does not exceed the height of the building.
· NEW COMMENT - I understand that the lighting levels at the eastern property line are
exceeding footcandle requirements at some points. Please reduce those levels down as close to
3 footcandles as possible and add a note on the plan that mentions why they are required to be
higher (for ATM lighting standards?) and may exceed the maximum allowable level

fire department access. Prove that all points of the building can meet the 150 foot hose lay
requirement from the fire lane. If not, the northern drive will need to be a designated fire lane
· ADDRESSED F3. Clarify – will the building be sprinklered?
