This letter confirms on July 28, 2025 the Historic Preservation Staff approved #CA25-50 for
the property addressed 518 East Texas Street, legally described as Block 106, Lot 5, College
Heights Addition, City of Grapevine to the Grapevine Historic Preservation Ordinance 91-73
(Appendix G — Grapevine Code of Ordinances), as amended, for the following:
1. Install an 8' high cedar fence on the east and west side of the house with a walk
gate in each; fence top rail to align with the top of the adjoining fence on the west
side;
2. Install an 8' high cedar fence along the rear property line; fence to include a sliding
driveway gate with metal frame and 8' high cedar pickets;
as per the attached plan and photo with the condition a permit is obtained from the Building
Department.
An approved Certificate of Appropriateness is not an approved building permit; a
building permit is is not required. Contact the City of Grapevine's Building
Department at 8410.3165 for fees and information regarding permits.
