This letter confirms on August 7, 2025 the Historic Preservation Staff approved with
conditions #CA25-52 for the property addressed 336 South Main Street, legally described as
Block 2, Lot 7B, City of Grapevine to the Grapevine Historic Preservation Ordinance 91-73
(Appendix G — Grapevine Code of Ordinances), as amended, for the following:
Replace the two existing black canvas awnings using existing frames;
Fabric to be: Sunbrella Brand Canvas fabric, Black #6008 color;
Awning 1 with new tenant name — "Hershenberg Group", "Luxury Residential", 5'
wide, V-2" drop, 2'-4" projection;
Awning 2 with tag line "Farm, Ranch, Commercial", 11' wide, V-2" drop, 3'
projection;
as per the attached photos, drawings and renderings with the condition a permit be obtained
from the Building Department.
An approved Certificate of Appropriateness is not an approved building permit; a
building permit rs / is not required. Contact the City of Grapevine's Building
Department at 817.410.3165 for fees and information regarding permits.
