FROM: BRUNO RUMBELOW, CITY MANAGER
MEETING DATE: OCTOBER 21, 2025
SUBJECT: PURCHASE OF A REPLACEMENT MOBILE ROBOT FOR ATHLETIC
FIELDS
RECOMMENDATION: City Council to consider purchasing a replacement mobile robot for
athletic fields marking from Tinymobilerobots US LLC for the Parks and
Recreation Department.
FUNDING SOURCE: Funds for this purchase are available in the Special Projects Fund for a
total amount not to exceed $22,730 and will be reimbursed over a 10 year
period from the Grapevine Southlake Soccer Association.
BACKGROUND: This purchase is for the replacement of the mobile robot that is currently
used to precisely mark the playing surfaces for soccer, lacrosse, football,
baseball, and softball for the PARD athletic fields. The Grapevine
Southlake Soccer Association will make ten annual payments to
reimburse the City for this purchase.
