SUBJECT: RENEWAL OF ANNUAL MAINTENANCE CONTRACT FOR BRAZOS
TICKET SOFTWARE
RECOMMENDATION: City Council to consider the renewal of an annual maintenance contract
for Brazos ticket software from Tyler Technologies for the Police
Department.
FUNDING SOURCE: Funds are available in the Crime Control and Prevention Fund for an
annual estimated amount of $24,859.
BACKGROUND: This purchase is to renew the annual software maintenance for Brazos
eCitation Solution software, printers, and interface maintenance for
Municipal Court and Police Department's RMS systems.
This procurement will be made as a sole source purchase from Tyler
Technologies in accordance with Local Government Code Chapter 252,
Subchapter B, § 252.022(a)(7)(A), which allows for items available from
only one source due to patents, copyrights, or proprietary processes.
