RECOMMENDATION: City Council to consider approval for the purchase of first responder mental health services from RGI Readiness Group. BACKGROUND: The City of Grapevine Fire Department, on behalf of the Northeast Fire Department Association (NEFDA), applied for, and has been awarded, the third year of a First Responder Mental Health Program grant through the Office of the Governor's Public Safety Criminal Justice Division for the fiscal year 2026. The grant does not require in-kind matching funds this year. The grant provides the third year of our First Responder Mental Health Program for all 14 NEFDA cities, plus DFW Airport Fire Rescue.
