SUBJECT: RENEWAL OF NEOGOV SERVICES FOR ONLINE EMPLOYMENT
APPLICATIONS
RECOMMENDATION: City Council to consider renewal of online job services from
Govern mentJobs.com DBA NeoGov for the Human Resources
Department.
FUNDING SOURCE: Funds are available in the General Fund (Human Resources) for an
annual estimated amount of$20,000.
BACKGROUND: The purpose of utilizing NeoGov services is to streamline and enhance
the online job application and HR processes within the City of Grapevine.
This purchase will be made in accordance with existing and interlocal
agreements with Omnia Partners Public Sector, Region VIII Education
Service Center in Texas as allowed by Texas Local Government Code,
Section 271 and Texas Government Code, Section 791.
Bids were taken by the Cooperative and a contract was awarded
Govern mentJobs.com DBA NeoGov. The Human Resources and
Purchasing staff reviewed the contract for departmental specification
compliance and pricing and determined that the contract would provide
the best service and pricing for meeting the needs of the City. This
contract is for an initial one-year period with two, one-year renewal
options.
Staff recommends approval.
