SUBJECT: APPROVAL OF TRADE SHOW BOOTH STORAGE, DELIVERY, SETUP,
AND UPGRADE SERVICES FROM THE TRADE GROUP
RECOMMENDATION: Consider the approval of an agreement for trade show booth storage,
delivery, setup, and upgrade services from The Trade Group for the
Economic Development Department.
FUNDING SOURCE: Funds are available in the Economic Development Fund for an estimated
amount of$18,848.
BACKGROUND: The Trade Group provides storage, shipping, setup, and design services
for Economic Development's booth during ICSC Las Vegas. This show is
the biggest annual trade show the department attends. It is staffed by both
City and Chamber personnel. This contract includes annual storage,
shipping, and setup rates. A new touchscreen kiosk and City branding
were added this year to enhance the attractiveness and effectiveness of
the booth.
