SUBJECT: FILING OF ANNUALAUDIT
RECOMMENDATION: Forvis Mazars, LLP, the City's auditing firm, will present the annual report
in compliance with the City Charter, Article 3, Section 3.14.
FUNDING SOURCE: This action will have no material effect on City funds.
BACKGROUND: Forvis Mazars, LLP has completed the audit of the FY2025 financial
statements in compliance with the City Charter,Article 3, Section 3.14.
The auditor's opinion letter states that the financial statements of the City
of Grapevine present fairly the financial position of the City. This
"unmodified opinion" indicates that no material exceptions were found
regarding the fairness criteria under which the records were audited. The
report also includes a Federal Single Audit report.
This report is being filed with the City Council. No formal action is required
on the part of the Council.
