SUBJECT: RENEWAL OF CONTRACT FOR EMPLOYEE AND FAMILY CLINICS
RECOMMENDATION: City Council to consider renewal of a professional service contract for
employee health clinics with Texas Health Physician Group.
FUNDING SOURCE: Funds are available in the General Fund (Human Resources) in the
estimated amount of$20,000.
BACKGROUND: Approval of this contract renewal will provide clinic services for all
employees and their families with Texas Health Physicians Group. As part
of the City's total benefits package, Grapevine provides low-cost sick visits
at eight local doctors' offices. This convenient care allows employees and
their families access to the care they need to return to work quickly.
The term shall extend through April 30, 2027. Thereafter, the Agreement
shall automatically extend for three consecutive one-year terms unless
either party provides ninety days' written notice of their intent to terminate
the Agreement.
